BANJARMASIN - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Banjarmasin Police has named DDN (41) as a suspect in a drug case. The perpetrator is known as a recidivist of the same case. "The suspect we arrested is also a drug case recidivist with the initials DDN (41) who was caught holding three packages of methamphetamine weighing 7.35 grams," said Head of Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police, Kompol Bala P Dewa in Banjarmasin, Antara, Friday, February 16. The suspect DDN is a resident of Mahoni Street, Banjar Indah Permai Complex, Pemurus Dalam Village, South Banjarmasin District. The arrest of this drug recidivist was made on Wednesday, February 7 at around 16.00 WITA. DDN was arrested without a fight while in the vicinity of his house. "The evidence that the officers secured was admitted to him and currently the suspect has been secured at the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit for examination," said Bala. The middle-ranking police officer again said the suspect had been detained at the Banjarmasin Police Detention Center for further legal proceedings. The results of the temporary investigation of DDN were charged with Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics because it is without rights or against the law it has, keeps, controls or provides class I narcotics instead of plants, which weigh more than five grams. Kasat Resnarkoba also said that his party continues to follow up on every case that members have succeeded in uncovering in the field. Not only that, his party continues to carry out investigations in the field to uncover the circulation of illicit goods in the jurisdiction of the Banjarmasin Police.
