Gibran Asks People To Be Patient Waiting For The KPU's Official Announcement

The candidate for vice president number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka said several friends at PDIP had congratulated him as the winner in the 2024 presidential election. Even so, Gibran still asked the public to continue waiting for the official results for the 2024 election vote count from the General Election Commission (KPU) RI. "Yes, we are waiting for the results," said the Mayor of Surakarta, in Solo, Central Java, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 16. He said the most important thing was that the implementation of the general election in Solo could run safely and smoothly. "That's the most priority," he said. "Even though there has been no announcement of victory, he admits that he has received congratulations from a number of parties. "Friends from PDIP also congratulated him. It doesn't need to be mentioned," he said. Gibran said that he would not close the possibility of communicating with candidate pair number one Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and serial number three Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. "Yes, later, if he has given me an opportunity to sowan (the gathering)," he said.

He hopes that in the near future the plan can be realized soon. "Yes, for communication, it hasn't, but I really hope that in the near future I can chat casually for breakfast or coffee," he said.
