Minister Basuki: May Allah SWT Choose The Best Leader

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono distributed his voting rights as a special voter at the 161 Kemang Pratama polling station, Bojong Rawalumbu Village, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City in the 2024 General Election.

Basuki arrived at TPS 161 Kemang Pratama at 12.05 WIB with his wife, children and son-in-law, as well as grandchildren from the residence who were only 50 meters from the location of the vote on foot.

"If the move starts at 12.00 WIB. The ID card is here, the old house is evicted, then moved here, the name is DPK (Special Voter List)," said Basuki on his way to the TPS, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 14.

He admitted that he had thought about it before distributing the voting rights today and was just waiting for the results of the vote in the 2024 General Election. He even had time to perform the tahajud prayer to get an overview of the best leadership choices.

Basuki hopes that the elected leader in the future will be the head of state chosen by Allah SWT as the best to be able to bring Indonesia to a better direction in the future.

"Everything must be done, at least we can continue what has been achieved now with a tougher future challenge. Hopefully, Allah SWT will be the best leader," he said.

Basuki Hadumuljono is included in the special voter list category because he is not included in the final voter list data but lives in residential areas around polling stations.
