Vice President On Dirty Love: Poliitk Dynamics, Government Will Pay Attention To Those Voices

Vice President Ma'ruf Amin assessed that the documentary film "Dirty Vote", which was launched through the YouTube channel, Sunday (11/2), is part of the political dynamics in Indonesia.

"I think it's the dynamics of our politics. Of course the government, if the government targets it, of course the government will pay attention to the voices," said Vice President Ma'ruf as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 12.

The Vice President assessed that the voices or wishes of the 2024 General Election, including through the documentary, must be responded well.

Ma'ruf emphasized that the most important thing is that elections must run well, as well as concerns such as divisions in society do not occur.

The vice president requested that the election not create hostility, instead it must add goodness and improve the situation.

"Do not let the election actually cause problems that cause our setbacks because there is hostility," he said.

In addition, the Vice President also asked all relevant parties and institutions, including the KPU and Bawaslu, to keep the election running well, honestly and fairly.

"At the TPS-TPS, there are already implementers, there are also witnesses and all of them are monitoring, hopefully there will be no intimidation. I think we all hope so that the election will run smoothly," said the Vice President.

The documentary Dirty Vote was directed by Dandhy Dwi Laksono. In his written broadcast, Dandhy conveyed that the film was a form of education for the people who on February 14, 2024 would exercise their voting rights in the 2024 General Election.
