Police Name The Man Suspect Of Domestic Violence Until His Wife Died Of Poisoning, Allegedly Due To An Affair Quarrel

Malang Resort Police (Polres) has named a suspect in a domestic violence case (KDRT) that caused a victim to die, namely a woman with the initials DS (41).

The head of the Malang Police Satreskrim AKP Gandha Syah Hidayat said the suspect with the initials DMM(40) years was the husband of the victim DS. "We succeeded in establishing a suspect, who is none other than the victim's husband, with the initials DMM. This case did take time for us to reveal, because we applied the principle of caution and presumption of innocence," said Gandha as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 12. For information, the KDRT incident that caused the victim to die occurred on January 24, 2024. The police received the report of the incident on January 25, 2024 on reports of residents at 01.20 WIB. The incident took place at Perum Bumi Mondoroko Raya (BMR) Blok GO I, RT004/015, Watugude Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. Victim DS is a resident of Jalan Veteran Dalam Number 1, Lowokwaru District, Malang City.Gandha explained that in revealing the incident, Satreskrim Malang Police had examined 12 witnesses, three of whom were expert witnesses. "In addition, we also secured videos (witness of the victim's biological child) as well as daily books belonging to the victim which were an outpouring of life. Our assumption, (day book content) it leads to the husband or perpetrator," he explained. Gandha added the police also obtained evidence in the form of the results of the victim's medical record, which based on the doctor's statement, the victim died due to poisoning. However, until now, the liquid causing the victim's death is still being carried out laboratory tests.
