SUNGAILAT - Sungailiat Bangka Gold Rat beach officer, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, temporarily closed the beach bathing service for visitors to the tourist attraction due to high waves. "We were forced to temporarily close bath services and banana boats on the beach for visitors because the waves were quite high," said Bangka Wasis Gold Rat Beach Officer Pujo Pranoto in Sungailiat, Sunday. In fact, he said, the height of the waves on the beach reaches 1.5 to two meters. Such high wave conditions are certainly dangerous for visitors who take a bath. "The tidal wave accompanied by strong winds has occurred since yesterday, Saturday (10/2) until now," he said. "Although beach bathing services are temporarily closed to avoid unwanted things, beach managers provide some interesting places for tourists to enjoy," he said. "We provide Flying Fox for children and can even interact with cute rabbits and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) motorcycle services," he said. It's just that he said, the number of visits was relatively low or about 500 people based on the ticket that was sold. "Maybe because they are still enjoying Chinese New Year celebrations, visitors are still a bit quiet despite the long holidays, and hopefully at the end of the long holiday until this afternoon there will be more tourist visits," he said.
