The joint apparatus in East Jakarta (Jaktim) prioritized the decline in campaign props (APK) on the green line on the first day of calm period ahead of the 2024 General Election on February 14.

Sebelumnya, Wali Kota Jaktim M Anwar mengatakan, penertiban APK ini bagian dari aturan perhelatan akbar demokrasi yang memasuki hari tenang kampanye."Pada pukul 00.00 WIB kita lakukan penertiban pada seluruh APK di lingkungan Kota Jakarta Timur, dengan santun dan berhati-hati," kata Anwar.Dia mengharapkan semua pihak dapat mengikuti aturan dan ketentuan yang berlaku dalam pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024, khususnya terkait penertiban APK dan menjaga situasi kondusif serta mentaati semua aturan sebagaimana yang telah ditetapkan."Manfaatkan waktu tenang dengan sebaiknya dengan netralitas, gunakan hak pilih sebaik mungkin, kita semua bersaudara wujudkan demokrasi yang sehat, jujur dan sebagai contoh bahwa Kota Jakarta Timur dapat menjaga kerukunan," imbuhnya.Kapolres Metro Jaktim, Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilpaly menambahkan pihaknya bersinergi dalam membersihkan APK, sehingga diharapkan agar pelaksanaan pesta demokrasi ini dapat berjalan aman dan lancar."Seperti yang disampaikan Pak Wali, kita akan menjaga kondusifitas dan masyarakat agar dapat menggunakan hak suaranya, jangan takut ke TPS," tandasnya.

The joint apparatus involved in this control consists of the East Jakarta Satpol PP, TNI, Polri, Transportation Sub-Department, Bina Marga Sub-Department, and the Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat).
