Muhaimin Promises To Disburse Endowment Of Cultural Funds If He Wins The Presidential Election

PASURUAN - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar said the Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) pair had prepared eight concrete programs for the cultural sector in Indonesia.

"Attention to culture, one package with a cultural strategy, including how to have a special budget called cultural endowment funds," he said in Pasuruan, East Java, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 9.

He explained that AMIN carries vision, mission and work programs, with the big theme Indonesia is just prosperous for all. While culture is included in 28 nodes of welfare with the theme, culture developed, cultural observers prospered.

The Anies-Muhaimin National Team (AMIN) has prepared eight concrete programs for culture in Indonesia.

The first program, the number of cultural endowments is getting bigger, the use is getting more diverse. Second, scholarships specifically for artists and cultural observers are expanded, including to study up to master's degree and doctoral degree abroad, equitable arts and cultural education as well as opportunities to study with maestro.

Third, tough artists and cultural figures are inspired through the 'National Maestro' program. Fourth, cultural centers are built and developed in many regions in Indonesia, both for traditional and contemporary culture, revived by collaboration with communities.

Fifth, revitalizing museums and cultural heritage areas. Sixth, tiered performance rooms from region to national for artists can grow.

Seventh, support from the government, state-owned enterprises and the private sector for cultural activities and arts performances. Eighth, the government connects private sector/BUMN with artists, to ensure sustainable partnerships and support.a
