Megawati Sindir Campaign Officials Use State Facilities During Oration At Banyuwangi People's Celebration

BANYUWANGI - PDI-P General Chair (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri satirized officials who use state facilities to campaign. Even though this kind of use is clearly prohibited in the Election Law.

This was conveyed by Megawati during a speech at the People's Celebration of the Great Campaign Ganjar-Mahfud at the Maron Genteng RTH, Banyuwangi, East Java, Thursday, February 8. He took the mountain with the Chairman of the Perindo Party, Hary Tanoesodibjo, to campaign for the number three pair.

"There are leaders, from presidents, ministers, other officials, and others, they cannot use facilities called state facilities," Megawati said in front of Ganjar-Mahfud supporters.

Megawati then asked what masses they had heard of the rule. The crowd then cheered.

Hearing this, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia was even more excited. He then asked other questions to the masses present.

"Who are students, female students? Those who are good at reading the law can be conveyed to those who have not been able to know," he said.

Furthermore, Megawati expressed her gratitude to the supporters who were present at the People's Celebration event.
