"One passenger is known to have died, while several other passengers were injured and have been evacuated to the hospital," said the Bantul Police Chief, as quoted by Antara.
The police chief said, based on reports from officers in the field, the accident began when the tourism bus carrying the tourist group was about to go to Parangtritis Beach after traveling to the Puncak Beci tourist area, Mangunan, Dlingo.
"When the officers checked, the bus that had an accident was in a neutral gear position," said the Police Chief.
