JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has distributed a number of supporting facilities to several RT, RW, and families that are prone to flooding in the rainy season.

Plt. Head of Implementation of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Sabdo Kurnianto said these supporting facilities were in the form of a toa or megaphone, flashlights, evacuation tires, and masks.

This equipment is used to anticipate heavy rain or water from upstream causing flooding, as well as to support emergency handling.

"Efforts that are being made are distributing additional supporting facilities for the rainy season," Sabdo said in his statement, Thursday, February 25.

In the first phase, BPBD distributed the supporting facilities to 182 RT and 31 RW in 14 flood-prone areas. The distribution will then be carried out in stages.
