Budiman Sudjatmiko Calls Ahok Forgets Himself

JAKARTA - Budiman Sudjatmiko responded to the statement of his former party colleagues at PDIP, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok who questioned the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Budiman said Ahok forgot himself. Because thanks to Jokowi's work, the former governor of DKI Jakarta is known as a figure.

"If it is considered that Pak Jokowi cannot work, I think Pak Ahok forgot that he was the figure, partly because of Pak Jokowi's work," Budiman told reporters, Wednesday, February 7.

Ahok was once the deputy governor of DKI Jakarta accompanying Jokowi in 2012. Two years after that, he rose to governorship because Jokowi was elected president.

Having worked together in DKI, Budiman assessed that Ahok did not need to ask other people about Jokowi's performance. He even mentioned his son who is now the Vice Presidential Candidate number 2.

"He just needs to ask his own conscience. That's all I want to convey to my friend Basuki Tjahaja Purnama," said the member of the TKN Expert Council Prabowo-Gibran.
