Vice President Urges Voters Not To Golput On Election Voting Day February 14

Vice President Ma'ruf Amin admitted that he did not know that he would exercise his voting rights in the 2024 General Election, Wednesday, February 14, in Jakarta or Depok, West Java. But the Vice President reminded voters to exercise their voting rights, not to get involved.

"I haven't got the call yet. Later, because I may be what...if the address is in Depok, Cimanggis, if the official house is at Diponegoro (Jakarta)," said the Vice President on the sidelines of the visit to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 5.

The vice president said he would vote at the polling station (TPS) according to a summons from the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"So I don't know who called me at the official residence or (Depok) yet. I'm just following the call who called. I asked where I was called," he said.

Ahead of the voting process which is only a matter of days, the Vice President appealed to people who have the right to vote to visit the TPS and distribute their rights on February 14, 2024.

The Vice President also invited all relevant parties, both organizers, contestants, and the public to keep the 2024 General Election running safely, peacefully, and with great joy.
