This Is Sandiaga Uno's Opinion Regarding Ahok's Resignation From Komut Pertamina

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Election Winning Body (Bappilu) PPP, Sandiaga Uno welcomed Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok's resignation from the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina and joined the Ganjar - Mahfud MD National Winning Team in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, Ahok's resignation shows that he upholds the oath of office.

"The aspect of upholding the oath of office he holds. Finally he resigned (as President Commissioner of PT. Pertamina). I appreciate and respect the decision. Congratulations on joining the winning team Ganjar-Mahfud," said Sandiaga Uno, Sunday, February 4.

Sandiaga said Ahok was an inspirational figure for the people of Jakarta. Ahok himself was once the Governor of DKI replacing Joko Widodo, who at that time ran as a presidential candidate in 2014.

"In my opinion, Mr. Ahok is an inspirational figure for the people of Jakarta. He has led here. I saw him show exemplary. In democracy he supports (Ganjar-Mahfud), now openly, he doesn't want any conflict of interest," Sandiaga said, who is still the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf).

Previously, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok stepped down from the position of President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero). Ahok chose to leave the position in order to focus on winning candidate pairs (paslon) number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, in the 2024 presidential election.

Ahok admitted that he had sent his resignation letter to the Ministry of SOEs. This letter was signed by Ahok on Friday, February 2, 2024.

"This upload is proof of the receipt of my Resignation Letter as the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) which I submitted today, February 2, 2024," Ahok wrote on his official Instagram account @basukibtp, quoted Friday, February 2, 2024.
