451 TPS In Disaster Prone Locations Will Be Evacuated By Bogor City Government

The city of BOGOR - A total of 451 polling stations (tps) located at disaster-prone points will now be evacuated or will be moved by the Bogor City Government, West Java.

"We specifically anticipate conditions but. There are more than 400 but those who are at vulnerable points, we prepare scenarios for transfer or evacuation if things happen beyond expectations," said Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto in Bogor, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 3.

He said the Bogor City Government had consolidated with various agencies to make the 2024 General Election a success at 2,913 butts throughout Bogor City on February 14.

The Bogor City Government ensures that the basic electricity, water, and health services of officers are ready. According to him, overall preparations are in accordance with the schedule or on the track. The provision of election logistics has been carried out 70 percent.

"We live in times like this, we focus on consolidating voter data. Especially novice voters," said Bima Arya.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Bogor City KPU Muhammad Habibi Zaenal Arifin admitted that he had appealed and instructed the polling group (kpps) in disaster-prone areas to move butts to a safe location in the event of bad weather.

"We have instructed Kpps friends to move if something happens, but it is categorized as prone to floods, landslides, and so on. We make sure it is all anticipated," said Habibi.

The Bogor City KPU determined to get in the 2024 General Election as many as 800,181 people. This number increased by around 84,000 people compared to the 2019 Election with a total of 716,473 people.

A total of 800,181 voters consisted of 399,085 men and 401,096 women.
