Vice President Gibran Shopping At BSD City Modern Market, His Arrival Was Immediately Welcomed By Airin

JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's candidate for shopping at the BSD City Modern Market, South Tangerang while greeting local residents on Saturday, February 3 morning.

Gibran previously also did the same in the Kemiri Muka market, Beji, Depok City.

From Antara's observation at the location, Gibran arrived at around 09.27 WIB. His arrival was immediately greeted by the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Winning Team (TPD) Banten Province, Airin Rachmi Diany.

Gibran, wearing a white blue patterned shirt, came with his wife Selvi Ananda.

When he arrived, Gibran immediately became the center of public attention. He was immediately surrounded by residents who wanted to live up to invite selfies.

Gibran's steps must also be monitored by Paspampres officers because the number of residents who surround is increasing.

At the first stop when he entered the market, Gibran immediately stopped his steps at the fruit shop to shop.

He was observed buying melon and rambutan. The price bargaining action like traders and buyers also occurred there.

After shopping for fruit, Gibran stepped back to the vegetable seller for shopping. Not infrequently people and market traders also shouted "gemoy" and "number two" when Gibran walked.

The Indonesian KPU appointed three pairs of candidates as participants in the 2024 General Election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar from serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka from serial number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md serial number 3.

The campaign period was determined by the KPU to take place from 28 November 2023 to 10 February 2024, followed by a calm period on 11'13 February 2024. The vote for the president-vice president and members of the legislature took place simultaneously throughout Indonesia on 14 February 2024.
