PAPUA - Papuan Police have signed a collaboration with Trigana Air to facilitate the mobilization of police personnel to secure the voting period for the 2024 General Election.

In addition, when there was an act of rioting in the Papua Regional Police area, it made it easier to shift personnel so that the incident did not spread.

"I hope this kind of cooperation can continue in the future considering that most areas in the Papua Regional Police are being pursued using air transportation," said Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri in his statement, Friday, February 2, quoted by Antara.

This collaboration was suppressed by the Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri and Area Manager of Trigana Air Base Papua Achmad Irwan Rochendi at the old Papuan Police Headquarters in Jayapura, Friday, February 2.

Achmad Irwan added, with the signing of a cooperation with the Papuan Police, his party is ready to help transport Polri personnel with their fleets.

Currently, Trigana Air has 10 fleets consisting of four Boeing 737/300 cargo aircraft, one ATR-72 Cargo aircraft, one Boeing 737/500 aircraft for passengers, one Donier aircraft for passengers and two ATR-42 aircraft for passengers, but the other is under repair.

"The operational areas of the Trigana Air aircraft are Wamena, Dekai, Serui, Nabire, Biak, Timika, Ewer, Keppi, Tanah Merah and Merauke," said Achmad Irwan Rochendi.
