Cruise Ship Aida Bellla Stops At Sheet Harbor Brings Thousands Of Tourists

PRAYA - Cruise ship Aida Bellla docked at Gilimas Lembar Harbor, West Lombok Regency (Lobar), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with thousands of tourists.

"The leaning Aida Bella cruise ship carries about 2,030 passengers, the majority of whom are from Germany," said Head of Marketing Division of the West Lombok Regency Tourism Office (Dispar), Irman Sumantri in Mataram, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.

He said as many as 830 passengers were scheduled to visit a number of tourist attractions in Lombok such as Narmada, Lingsar, Sesela, Senggigi, Mataram to Gili Air and Gili Trawangan. "That's the number of cruise ship guests managed directly by the Bidy Tour as the official tour operator, tourists traveling are divided into 27 buses," he said.

Then for the rest of the other passengers, there are those who choose to only shop at the port, some use other tour guides to tour around with the car according to tourist wishes.

"A number of tourists also seem to choose to travel around the gili-gili (small island, red) in Sekotong by boat," he said.

Munawir, one of the providers of boat transportation services, admitted that he was happy to get a ride from the cruise ship tourists who came today.

"Alhamdulillah, my guide friends brought guests who wanted to travel around the gili, I happened to have four families from Germany, they wanted to go to Gili Nangggu, Gili Kedis and Gili Sudak," he said.

Not only Munawir, at the same time a number of other boat transportation service providers also received passengers from cruise ship guests.

"So far, about ten boats are ready to go to take tourists to the gili," he said.
