Khofifah Gives A Signal To Collaborate Again With Emil Dardak In The 2024 East Java Pilkada

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa gave a signal that he would cooperate with EMil Elestianto Dardak, who is currently the Deputy Governor of East Java, in the 2024 East Java Regional Head Election.

Khofifah, National Campaigner for the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the Democratic Party's Grand Campaign in Malang City, East Java, said she would continue construction in the next five years.

Mr. Emil has been collaborating with East Java for five years. We will both continue in the next five years," said Khofifah as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.

Meanwhile, when met after the Democratic Party's Grand Campaign, Emil Dardak asked for prayers from the community and would feel very proud if he could return to fight with Khofifah Indar Parawansa in the 2024 Pilkada.

According to him, the Democratic Party has committed to supporting the Khofifah-Emil pair to contest the 2024 East Java Pilkada.

However, it takes a lot of political communication with various elements because building East Java must be done together.

"Please pray for blessings, we are certainly very proud if we can join in fighting again with Mrs. Khofifah. The Democrat Party has committed and provided support to Khofifah-Emil," he said.

He said that he is currently focusing on helping the winning pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation.

"Currently, Mrs. Khofifah is still focused on helping Prabowo-Gibran win," he said.

Khofifah Indar Parawansa is the Governor of East Java who was inaugurated in 2019 and side by side with Emil Elestianto Dardak as Deputy Governor.

The Khofifah-Emil pair officially occupied the seat of leader of East Java after defeating the pair Saifullah Yusuf-Puti Guntur Soekarno in the 2018 East Java Pilkada.
