Yenny Wahid: The State Is Present For All Not Only One Family's Children

KULON PROGO - Advisory Board for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Yenny Wahid stated that the Indonesian state must be present for all the nation's children, not just one family child. "This country must be present for all the nation's children. Not only the nation's children, not just the one family," Yenny said at the Yogyakarta People's Celebration in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta Special Region, Antara, Sunday, January 28. Despite his status as the son of the 4th former President of Indonesia, Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), Yenny considered himself to have the same rights as others in the eyes of the law and state. This means that no one's child should be privileged considering that every citizen has the right to protection from the state while paying taxes and obeying the law. That way, every child of the nation will have the opportunity to prosper. "I am bad for the president's (former), red) children, but I want all, want the son of a pedicab, want a drinking son, want a parking attendant's son, everyone can live a prosperous and prosperous life in our country," said Yenny. Therefore, he encouraged the public to vote for presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3, Ganjar-Mahfud Md in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). According to him, the couple are willing to fight for the benefit of small communities, farmers and fishermen, religious teachers, honorary teachers, dare to eradicate corruption in Indonesia, and fight for equality and democracy.

"We are not only here to win Ganjar-Mahfud, but to fight for the benefit of the Indonesian people, for the benefit of democracy, where all the nation's children, whether they have central defenders or not, still have the opportunity to live a prosperous life. We don't want the country to be intended for those in power and officials alone," he said.
