Give A Decent Life, 510 Houses Repaired By The South Tangerang City Government

TANGERANG - The South Tangerang City Public Housing, Settlement and Land Office (Disperkimta) has again repaired the Uninhabitable Public House (RUTLH) in 2024. There are 510 houses that are targeted for repairs.

Head of South Tangerang Disperkimta Aries Kurniawan said the 510 houses to be repaired were financed through the pure 2024 APBD. Later the repair process will be divided into two stages in a year.

The first stage of 255 housing units will be carried out starting in February and completed. The hope is that when Eid is available, Kurniawan said in his statement, Sunday, January 28.

"Then the remaining second stage 255 units will be carried out again after Eid starts in June," he continued.

On his occasion, Aries explained that the house renovation program was the flagship program of the Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie in reducing extreme poverty and providing a decent life for its citizens.

"Hopefully the poverty rate in South Tangerang can be reduced as low as possible," he added.

Regarding the beneficiaries, said Kurniawan, the house renovation program is confirmed to be residents who have the identity of South Tangerang and also have a legal recognition of land ownership.

"We will dismantle the implementation later and make it a new building, with the target of work taking one to two months," he concluded.
