Invite Business Actors, South Tangerang City Government Still Reviewing The Increase In Entertainment Taxes 40-75 Percent

TANGERANG - The South Tangerang City Government (Tangsel) is still reviewing the increase in entertainment taxes set by the central government at least 40 percent and a maximum of 75 percent.

South Tangerang Mayor, Benyamin Davnie said he would reveal entertainment and hotel business actors through the South Tangerang regional revenue agency to formulate an increase in entertainment taxes.

"We are still discussing it for a long time. I am studying, taxes such as spas are not included in entertainment (such as karaoke) because it is included in the health factor," said Benjamin in his statement, Sunday, January 28.

Nevertheless, Benjamin said, until now there has been no proposal or rejection from the entertainment venue entrepreneurs in South Tangerang from the discourse on increasing taxes by the central government.

"Until today there has been no proposal or affirmation of rejection, in the pattern of implementing the plan to increase the entertainment tax," he said
