4 Injured, 19 Students Involved In Brawl In Tangerang Regency Arrested By Police

TANGERANG - Police arrested 19 students who were suspected of fighting on Jalan Raya Rajeg-Mauk, Tangerang Regency, Monday, January 15. As a result, 4 victims suffered stab wounds.

As for the students of the alleged perpetrators who have been arrested, including the initials BRS, GAP, EN, RB, ARM, KF, MR. Then, HSL, RFR, AM, ES, RSV, MA, IAV, FAN, AMR, ORH, RR and EP.

"Since the incident, we have immediately secured 19 suspected perpetrators," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang Police, Kompol Arief N Yusuf when confirmed, Sunday, January 28.

Arief explained that apart from arresting dozens of students, his party also found a number of evidences in the form of sharp weapons (sajam) from the hands of the perpetrators.

"We have secured evidence of sharp weapons in the form of sickles, swords, eight white shirts (school uniforms), eight ash pants (school uniform), and three motorbikes," he said.

The team of investigators is still hunting for the other perpetrators involved in the brawl incident. Therefore, his party is still investigating the case.

"Investigators continue to work to uncover other actors who have been identified and developed," he said.

The 19th student has been taken to the Tangerang Police Station for further action.

He said that in handling this case, his party coordinated with the Tangerang Class I Correctional Center (Bapas) and the parents.

"Of course, accompanied by parents and joint handling with Fathers to provide recommendations to investigators as regulated in the child's criminal justice system," he concluded.v
