Today, 2 Police Tried Butut Case Of DWP Audience

JAKARTA - The National Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam) has again held a trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) for two members of the Metro Jaya Police regarding the 2024 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) audience extortion case.

So far, 9 members of Polda Metro Jaya have been tried internally through the KKEP trial. All were found guilty.

"Yes, today there are two suspected violators who underwent an ethics trial," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, Tuesday, January 7.

With the addition of the two police officers, there have been 11 members of the Polda Metro Jaya who have been tried internally through the KKEP trial.

For the nine police officers who have been tried, namely Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful, AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia. They are sanctioned for dismissal or dishonorable dismissal (PTDH).

Then, Kompol Dzul Fadlan, Iptu SM, and S were sanctioned for 8 years. Meanwhile, Brigadier FRS, Aiptu Armadi July Marasi Gultom and Bripka Wahyu Tri Haryanto were sentenced to 5 years of demotion.

The sanctions were given because they were found guilty of extortion against DWP spectators. They asked the victim for some money under the pretext of being a condition of release.

However, all of the alleged violators or nine police officers filed an appeal.
