Prabowo Subianto's Speech At JCC: We Are Jokowi's Team

Prabowo Subianto gave a speech at Suara Muda Indonesia for Prabowo-Gibran at JCC Senayan, Saturday, January 27 (Abdul Aziz Masindo/VOI).

Presidential Candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, in his speech at the Indonesian Young Voice for Prabowo-Gibran at JCC Senayan, Central Jakarta, said that Prabowo-Gibran and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition were his team, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Prabowo-Gibran and the Forward Indonesia Coalition, we are openly and not shy and do not joke, we are Joko Widodo's team," Prabowo said at JCC Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday, January 27, 2024.

In his speech, Prabowo recalled the days when he became Jokowi's political opponent in the 2014 and 2019 elections.

"You know I've been against Jokowi for so many years, right? Twice I lost, right? You (relawans) why I lost," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said that even though he had become Jokowi's political opponent, he did not have hatred and hatred between Prabowo and Jokowi.

"We are in contact with not only the brain, we are related to the heart," explained Prabowo.

He also recalled when he was first defeated by Jokowi in the 2014 election. Jokowi asked for time to meet and come to Prabowo's house.

"At that time, Jokowi actually wanted to go up to Hambalang, but I also had feelings, why did he go all the way up to Mount," said Prabowo.

As previously reported, two Indonesian Cabinet Ministers Maju Jokowi and a number of political figures attended the Indonesian Young Voice for Prabowo-Gibran at the Senayan JCC on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

The Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet who attended were Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir and Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia.

A number of political figures were also present at the event, including the Chairman of the PAN DPP Bima Arya, the Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soeparno, former PSI politician Tsamara Amany, and former PDIP politician Maruarar Sirait, and a number of TKN Prabowo-Gibran.

Indonesia's Young Voice for Prabowo-Gibran is a campaign of candidate pair number 2 by inviting a number of Prabowo-Gibran volunteers and the younger generation.
