JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi stated that Indonesia and Timor Leste agreed to advance the communication and informatics sectors (Kominfo) of the two countries.

Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie explained that the scope of cooperation with Timor Leste includes radio communication, telecommunications services, informatics applications and postal and courier services.

"Form cooperation in the MoU for the radio communication sector, the two countries will coordinate and monitor radio frequency spectra in border areas. According to Budi Arie, Indonesia supports the promotion and development of 5G technology cooperation and facilitation of telecommunication infrastructure development.
