Ganjar: Regent Can Participate In Campaign, Right There Has Been A Statement

LABUAN BAJO - presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo said that currently state officials such as regents may campaign.

This was conveyed by Ganjar during a dialogue at the Ruteng Diocese House, Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Friday (26/1). Initially, Ganjar discussed stunting.

"What I think about, sorry if someone will be offended later, I apologize in front. When I read the statistical data, this relative stunting, the regent, the regent, may join the campaign," said Ganjar, who was greeted by laughter from the participants who were present as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 26.

Therefore, Ganjar asked the regent not to be afraid if he wanted to participate in the campaign.

"There was a statement yesterday, you shouldn't be afraid (of the campaign)," he continued.

Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had stated that the president could campaign. Jokowi also said that the president could take sides.

Then, Ganjar said that the stunting rate in Indonesia was still high. Ganjar is also committed to improving access to health.

"When stunting is still high, then let's think about access to health for the future generation of the nation that we think about," said Ganjar.

Ganjar also said that his focus is currently listening to the voices of the small people. Therefore, he chose to campaign in remote areas.

"Why do I choose the corners of Indonesia, which has a small electoral voice? We are not talking about electoral matters with small conditions," he explained.

"But, we are looking, watching, feeling the vibrations of the thoughts that exist in society, the sense of heart and the spiritual atmosphere that exist at the ends of Indonesia, which we never know about, never touch, or when we are lazy to touch," he added.

He said that reaching Ruteng, NTT, requires a struggle. So, he was determined to improve access to health to education in NTT.

"I really feel the atmosphere, going to this place requires a struggle. It's not fair when the remote area doesn't get priority," concluded Ganjar.
