Pilgrimage To Bung Karno's Grave In Blitar, Atikoh Welcomed By Rain

BLITAR - The wife of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, Siti Atikoh made a pilgrimage to the grave of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno in Blitar, East Java. This activity is a series of political safaris in the province of East Java.

Monitoring at the location, Friday, January 26, Atikoh, who wore a black shirt and red veil, came to Bung Karno's grave at around 16.00 WIB. It only took 15 minutes there, it rained and then it rained.

Even though it was raining, Atikoh still stepped over to Bung Karno's grave. He was welcomed by the PDIP management and volunteers supporting Ganjar-Mahfud who wanted to make a joint pilgrimage.

Before the pilgrimage, Ganjar's wife also took the time to perform the Ashar prayer first at the prayer room near the tomb.

Next, Atikoh continued his steps to Bung Karno's grave. He was immediately greeted by one of the grave administrators and immediately took a sitting position beside Bung Karno's grave.

Representative of the tomb management, Juni Purnomo also welcomed Atikoh and his entourage. He then led the prayer reading.

The chanting of salawat and remembrance was heard at Bung Karno's grave. After praying for approximately 15 minutes, Atikoh then began to spread flowers.

He was seen arranging flowers neatly at Bung Karno's grave. Furthermore, Atikoh also sprinkled flowers on the grave of Bung Karno's father, Raden Soekemi Sosrodihardjo, and Ida Ayu Nyoman Rai who is Bung Karno's mother.

During the pilgrimage, Atikoh also met a group of pilgrims from Central Java. The elderly father and mother also took the time to take pictures with Atikoh.
