Muhaimin: Don't Let People Don't Have Ethics Regulating The Country As Good As The Udel

BADUNG - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) quipped again about ethics in the 2024 presidential election contestation. Cak Imin emphasized that candidates who do not have ethics cannot lead Indonesia.

"This struggle for change is a struggle for ethical value. Don't let people who don't have ethics regulate this country have its udel. Right? It's time to change," said Cak Imin in a gathering and consolidation of Basra AMIN Volunteers, in Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Friday, January 26.

Cak Imin alluded to slander to the presidential candidate Anies Baswedan. Anies is considered to have no religious tolerance.

"Mas Anies was slandered by intolerance. While in Bali I conveyed that Mas Anies was accused of being intolerant, not prioritizing religious tolerance. I conveyed to the Balinese people that Mas Anies' chest was dissected, Muhaimin Iskandar's chest was dissected, the one in which was Red-White Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. We are clear, the santri duo for the Republic of Indonesia. Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, the price is dead," he said.

"So to the Balinese people, don't be easily disturbed and slandered by anyone, because it is precisely Anies and Muhaimin who will unite all religious communities in Indonesia for the sake of the realization of justice. So, the struggle for justice is not easy, slander between religious communities is slandered, between Muslims is pitted against each other. I convey that Muslims and all religious communities in Indonesia already have maturity. It is no longer easy to fight against, no longer easy to fight against, right?," he explained.

Cak Imin also remembers what KH Abdurrahman Wahid alias Gus Dur said about terrorism, which is an effort to fight against religious communities.

"I remember what Gus Dur said. If there are terrorists, maybe terrorists are just fighting against each other between religious communities, right? Therefore, we convey to all Balinese people, red and white, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika we will welcome the Anies-Muhaimin Iskandar duo," he said.
