Meanwhile, U Kyi Win's lawyer slammed the police for ignoring reports of alleged violations of the law in the raids on the NLD office by the Myanmar military.
"That's not true. The Myanmar police don't follow their procedures," he said.
Earlier, the Myanmar military raided the headquarters and offices of the executive committee of the National League for Democracy (NLD) Party, led by Aung San Suu Kyi, in two separate locations on February 9. This coincided with the imposition of a curfew.
