TPN Spokesperson: Different Presidential And Legislative Elections, Mau Ganjar President Doesn't Have To Vote For PDI-P

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN), Prince Siahaan or Pange, invites voters who feel they are suitable for Presidential Candidate (Capres) 03, Ganjar Pranowo, but feel they don't like the PDI-P, they can still vote for Ganjar.

"If you don't like the party, take the legislative election, you choose another party. But if you like the presidential candidate, you choose the presidential candidate. I think those are two things that should be separated," Pange said in his statement, Friday (26/1/2024).

The reason is that according to Pange, the presidential election (pilpres) with the legislative elections (pileg) is two different things.

So that voters can still vote on the Ganjar-Mahfud pair even though they do not make a choice on the PDI-P in the legislative election.

Pange himself admitted that in the field there were some parties who felt they wanted to choose Ganjar-Mahfud, but they felt they did not match the PDI-P.

For this reason, Pange offers an alternative by inviting voters to vote on Ganjar-Mahfud, even though they choose other parties outside the PDIP.

"If you don't feel creative (with PDIP), that's their own choice. However, if you're not the same as Ganjar, then you'll vote for Ganjar," he said.
