Police Conduct Single Examination Of Aiman Witjaksono In The Case Of Alleged Hoax "Not Neutral Police"

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will take information against Aiman Witjaksono as the sole examination in the alleged case of spreading false news about non-neutral police in the General Election or the 2024 General Election.

Aiman was originally scheduled to undergo examination as a witness on Friday, January 26.

"The investigation is single," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters, Friday, January 26.

The single examination means Aiman will not be confronted with other witnesses in the process of taking information.

Confirmed separately, the spokesman for the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) stated that he would fulfill the summons for the examination.

"I'm ready to come," said Aiman

Aiman admitted that he did not have special preparations during the examination. He conveyed a number of evidences when he was examined in early December 2023.

"I have submitted the evidence at the first examination," he said.

Aiman will be questioned at the Cyber Sub-Directorate Building of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya at 09.00 WIB.

As is known, there are a total of six community alliances that reported the Spokesperson for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md Aiman Witjaksono at Polda Metro Jaya regarding his statement accusing the police of not being neutral.

The six reported Aiman Witjaksono regarding Article 28 (2) in conjunction with Article 45 A paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and/or Article 14 and/or Article 15 of Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations.
