KPU Targets 100 Percent Election Logistics Packaging To Be Completed February 1

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia targets the sorting and folding of ballots and the packaging of all election logistics in all regencies and cities to be completed 100 percent by February 1, 2024.

The Indonesian KPU commissioner, Idham Kholik, visited the logistics warehouse of the Bantul Regency KPU, Yogyakarta Special Region, Thursday, saying that the sorting and folding of ballots in Bantul had been completed, and now it is just the process of packaging election logistics.

"Today after I attended the Kpps inauguration activities in Yogyakarta, now we are reviewing the election logistics warehouse at the Bantul KPU, and Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly and it is confirmed that on February 1, 2024, everything has been 100 percent completed," he said.

He also said that the process of sorting and folding ballots as well as packaging logistics, both ballot boxes, ballot booths and equipment at other polling stations nationally has so far not experienced any obstacles or obstacles.

"Nationally it is the same, there are no significant obstacles, God willing, it will provide services to voters as it should be on Wednesday, February 14, everything is ready to serve voters," he said.

Regarding the existence of a damaged ballot after being sorted, his party ensures that it has been handled, and efforts to replace it before February 1, 2024, are distributed to the regional kpu that proposes replacement.

"Regarding this (the broken ballot) will soon be fulfilled, which is clear on February 1, everything must be finished, also in remote areas, God willing, there will be no problems," he said.

His party also ensures that the stages of preparation of election logistics in all regions all run smoothly in the process, both sorting and folding ballots and packaging, all of which must be on time.

"Nationally there is no problem, because today everything is almost certain to be finished for the multipliers, now the packaging process is done," he said.
