BENGKULU - The Bengkulu City General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) noted that hundreds of campaign props (APK) and other attributes had violated the general election commission regulations (PKPU), regional regulations (Perda), and other regulations. Although his party has given an appeal letter to the 2024 Election participants, there are several APKs that have been released, but there are also those who have installed new APKs in prohibited areas. "For the APB that violates Bengkulu City, it is estimated that it ranges from tens to hundreds," said Bengkulu City Bawaslu Coordinator of the Division for Handling, Utilization and Violation of Disputes (Kordiv PPPS) Ahmad Maskuri in Bengkulu, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, January 24. He said that his party continues to collect data on APK and attributes that violate PKPU, Regional Regulations and other regulations. Hundreds of APKs are installed in several places outside the zone and at points that violate regional regulations, green zones and other regulations. "The data collection is carried out so that no APB is not appropriate to be missed when the control is carried out so that it is right on target and we have conveyed an appeal to election participants so that the APK is installed in accordance with the rules and zones set by the KPU," he said. Ahmad explained, based on an appeal from the Indonesian KPU so that election participants are not allowed to install props or campaign attributes that can disrupt public order such as public facilities and unallowed places such as government areas, SOEs, public facilities, hospitals and places of worship. "But keep in mind that point F can disturb public order, meaning that some of the attributes installed in Bengkulu City have disrupted public order.
