Residents Stabbing Case, 6 Youths In South Lampung Arrested By Police

LAMPUNG SELATAN - South Lampung Police arrested six suspects in a criminal case of abuse and beating minors that occurred in Kalianda District on Wednesday (17/1).

"The perpetrators, including M (19), SA (16), AR (16), TH (16), BA (17) and AM (16) Residents of Kalianda South Lampung, were secured on Monday (22/1) at around 03.00 WIB," said South Lampung Police Chief, AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin., Tuesday, January 23.

Saat ini di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, khusus wilayah Kalianda, menurt Yusriandi sering terjadi tindak pidana seperti tawuran dan pertarungan antara remaja.

"In South Lampung sometimes there is friction between students, between youth starting from posting each other, challenging each other on social media. This happened and the victim suffered serious injuries," he said.

The victim from the beating, who is still a minor, is currently unable to carry out normal activities as usual, thus disrupting his school activities.

The arrests of the six perpetrators of the beating began with the incident where the NS victim (14) was beaten by an unknown person.

The victim, who was riding a motorcycle riding a motorcycle, was suddenly thrown by a group of people. The victim who fell and was beaten, beaten and stabbed with a sharp weapon suspected of being a sickle and machete.

"This incident caused the victim NS (14) to suffer a stab wound to the head, a stab wound to the neck, and a wound to the knee due to a sharp weapon," he said.

Receiving reports from victims and reporters, the South Lampung Police together with the Kalianda Police conducted a series of investigations.

"The team managed to find the whereabouts of the perpetrators and secured the suspects, then brought them to the South Lampung Police Headquarters for further investigation," he also said.

For this incident, the suspects were entangled in Article 80 Paragraphs of Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.
