Sadistic! Mother In Surabaya Tortures Her Biological Child, Forces Drinking Water

SURABAYA - A mother in Surabaya, with the initials ACA (26), carried out a cruel torture act against her biological child, GEL, who is still in grade 3 of elementary school.

This sadistic act includes persecution using a dog bat, forcing drinking boiling water, pouring hot water, and even forcibly pulling out the teeth using the pliers.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surabaya Police, AKBP Hendro Sukmono, revealed that this incident was uncovered after the Surabaya Social Service Office reported the case on January 17, 2024. Further investigations were carried out after the victim was taken to the Surabaya Police Station to make a report.

"When the Social Service officers took the victim to the Surabaya Police Station to make a report, then we carried out a post-mortem examination at the Bhayangkara Hospital, East Java Police," explained AKBP Hendro Sukmono, Monday, January 22.

After receiving the report, the police then secured the suspect ACA at his home in Manyar Tirtoyoso Selatan VIII, Surabaya.

"Then the Surabaya Police PPA Unit clarified the complainants, victims, and witnesses. Then we held the case and went to the perpetrator's house to secure the alleged ACA perpetrator at his house," he said.

Hendro said that ACA had been sadistic torture of her biological child for a long time. He did it because he was annoyed at his son who was considered naughty.

"At that time the perpetrator was cooking water, because the child upset him, he splashed with hot water and his son was asked to drink boiling water until his mouth was hurt," said Hendro.

Not only securing ACA, the police also confiscated a number of evidences from the suspect's house, namely two plastic glasses, a water heater, a dog beater, two blue rubber straps, two sets of white and red SD uniforms, one cell phone, and a flash drive containing photos and videos of the victim.

The police charged ACA with Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law 23/2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, and Article 80 paragraph (2) and (4) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, with a penalty of 10 years in prison.
