Caleg Billboard Over Motorcyclist In Cakung, PSI DKI Asks For APK Installation To Be Checked

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) of DKI Jakarta has instructed all legislative candidates and party officials to check the installation of campaign props (APK) in this area to prevent the risk of accidents for residents.

"We also instruct all party candidates and administrators to check PSI campaign props installed in Jakarta," said Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PSI Regional Representative Council (DPW) Elva Farhi Qolbina as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

Elva reminded that currently the weather in Jakarta often rains and the wind is quite strong, so special attention is needed for the installation of props.

If there are campaign props that are not good when installed, the election participants must immediately be repaired so that the desired incident does not happen again.

PSI also asked DKI residents to contact if there were props that were deemed disturbing public order and endangering the driver.

"For DKI residents who want to report the APK that needs to be repaired or interfere with the safety of the driver, they can contact the WA Call Center PSI Jakarta at 085727531260," he explained.

His party has also met the families of the victims of motorcyclists who were hit by props in East Jakarta to solve the problem.

"We from PSI apologize for the inconvenience caused by this," he said.

Previously, a large billboard belonging to one of the legislative candidates (caleg) from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) collapsed and hit a motorcyclist who passed on Jalan KRT Radjiman Widyoningrat, Jatinegara Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, this Monday.

The collapsed billboard depicts PSI DPP Deputy Secretary General Ilma Sovri Yanti who is also a candidate for the DKI Jakarta 1 electoral district (Dapil).

One of the eyewitnesses, Nirwan (30) said, the collapse of the billboard occurred at around 11.00 WIB, when the wind on Jalan KRT Radjiman was quite strong.
