Gerindra: Support For Khofifah And Erick Thohir Munculkan Optimism To Win One Round

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party as well as Commander of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team Communication Team (TKN), Budisatrio Djiwandono, said that Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Erick Thohir's support for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number two was a big capital in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) contestation.

According to him, the support from the two has created optimism for Prabowo-Gibran to win one round. Because, they have electoral impacts, especially Khofifah for East Java and Nahdliyin.

"Of course we are optimistic that this will have a massive impact, not only in East Java, but throughout Indonesia. To accelerate and become a catalyst in Prabowo-Gibran's winning struggle in one round," said Budi, Monday, January 22.

Khofifah and Erick's support also gives encouragement to all elements of Prabowo-Gibran's victory. However, the impact of this support should not only be measured in terms of electability.

"The harmony of political choice will strengthen the spirit of supporters, affirming that they are in line," said Budi.

Khofifah and Erick began to openly support Prabowo-Gibran. They were seen in the line of supporters during the debate between the two vice presidential candidates which took place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Sunday, January 21.

The emergence of Khofifah and Erick was the first time after the two of them declared their support for Prabowo-Gibran.
