JAKARTA - Suspect Argiyan Arbirama is suspected of having planned the rape of Kayla Rizki Andini from the start. Because, from the series of incidents, the suspect forced the victim to pick him up at his rented house.

"The perpetrator forced the victim to want to pick him up. Then the victim was willing to pick him up at the perpetrator's house," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, to reporters, Monday, January 22.

Another thing that strengthened the suspicion was because the suspect immediately locked the door of his rented house when Kayla entered.

The suspect then asked Kayla to go to the bathroom. The request was suspected to be another mode because that was when Argiyan pulled his girlfriend's hand towards the room.

"At that time the perpetrator started kissing and holding the victim's body, at which time the victim immediately rebelled and screamed. Because the victim rebelled and screamed, the perpetrator immediately strangled the victim and pushed her in the direction of the bed," he said.

From the results of the examination, after raping Kayla, Argiyan had time to wear clothes to his girlfriend.

In order not to fight, his girlfriend's feet and hands were tied using pillowcases.

"Wearing the victim's clothes and pants. In order not to fight back, then the perpetrator began to tie the victim's hands and feet using gloves and pillowcases," said Wira.

After that, Argiyan left the Korntrakan house. The perpetrator then contacted his mother to inform her whereabouts. However, when found, the 20-year-old woman was dead on January 18.

Argiyan was also arrested at the Ki Ageng Cem embracing bus terminal, North Kesesi, Kesesi District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java, January 19.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder, and or 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code, namely persecution that resulted in people dying, and/or rape, namely Article 285 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison.
