Presidential candidate number one Anies Baswedan ignited the enthusiasm of the students at the Tahfidzul Islamic Boarding School Quran Wahidin Halim, Pondok Pinang Tangerang, Banten, Sunday, January 21.

Anies in his statement was broadcast in Jakarta, expressing his gratitude for being a witness to the inauguration of the boarding school led by Dr Wahidim Halim.

"Being a witness to a noble effort that will start in this place, which will later grow hafiz who hopefully, during their extension of their life as a Quran will run, will be an example for all," said Anies to the board of the boarding school, quoted from Antara.

Anies then ignited the enthusiasm of the students to complete their education in the hut with hard work to the end.

"God willing, what will be done today may feel heavy. Maybe it feels challenging, but remember that the younger siblings weren't the first, not the first. So it's as hard as the younger siblings live, remember that there are a lot of hafiz out there, if they can get 30 juz," he said.

"God willing, brothers and sisters can reach 30 juz, so don't be discouraged. It's really hard, it's only 10, it's still a long way to go, if other people can do it, God willing, you can do it," said Anies to the students.

Anies said the Islamic boarding school where the education is visited is like a well, a reward whose flow will never stop. For those who establish and those who make an effort to take care of all of this journey, the reward well for all of them," he said.

The Indonesian KPU has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates participating in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres), namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md serial number 3.
