The defendant in the investment fraud of the Auto Trade Gold (ATG) trading businessman Dinar Wahyu Septian Dyfrig alias Wahyu Kenzo was proven guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison in a trial at the Malang District Court (PN), East Java.

Chairman of the Panel of Judges Kun Triharyanto Wibowo said Kenzo's revelation was found guilty and proven to have violated Article 106 of Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).

"For this reason, the defendant Dinar Wahyu was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion, subsidiary to 3 months in prison," said Judge Kun Triharyanto as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 19.

During the trial, three defendants of investment fraud in trading robbery ATG, namely Wahyu Kenzo, Candra Bayu Mahardika alias Bayu Walker, and Raymond Enovan, attended the trial online or virtually from the Malang Class I Correctional Institution (Lapas).

Bayu Walker was also found guilty of violating Article 106 of Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering.

"He was sentenced to 8 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 6 billion, subsidiary to 3 months in prison," continued the judge.

Then, the defendant Raymond Enovan was declared legally and proven to have violated Article 106 of Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 5 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering.

"The defendant Raymond Enovan was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to 3 months in prison," explained the judge.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang Public Prosecutor's Team (JPU) Yuniarti S. Yudha said the judge's decision was in accordance with what the prosecutor wanted.

"The panel of judges agrees with us and the decision is in accordance with our demands. For further legal steps, we are thinking about it, the same as the defendant and the legal advisor who also stated the same thing," said Yuniarti.

For information, Wahyu Kenzo is suspected of making a profit of Rp. 9 trillion with the number of victims reaching 25 thousand people in the case of investment fraud in the TRADING ATG trade.
