Completed Examined At Bareskrim, Firli Bahuri: Everything Has Been Given According To Request

JAKARTA - Former Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, has finished undergoing additional investigations as a suspect in the alleged extortion case against former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

The examination process for Firli Bahuri is estimated to last for three hours starting from 09.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB.

After undergoing the examination, the former chairman of the KPK for the 2019-2023 period gave a little statement. All that he knew was that Firli had been submitted to investigators.

"We have given everything according to the investigator's request and we will follow it next, thank you," Firli told reporters, Friday, January 19.

After conveying this, Firli Bahuri immediately got into his car and left the National Police Headquarters.

Previously, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, said that an additional examination of Firli Bahuri was to complete the case file.

Originally, investigators had transferred Firli Bahuri's case file on December 15. However, the results of the examination by the research prosecutor stated that there were still shortcomings.

"To be asked for additional information and this is part of fulfilling the P19 instructions from the Public Prosecutor at the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office," said Ade.

Firli is known to have been questioned six times. Two of them were when Firli Bahuri was still a witness on October 26 and November 16.

For the remaining examination, when the former chairman of the KPK was a suspect. Firli Bahuri was asked for the exact information on December 1, December 6, December 27, January 19.
