BATU - The deadly accident of the PO Sakhindra tourism bus with the number plate DK 7942 GB occurred in Batu City, East Java, Wednesday, January 8 evening. The bus carrying a group of TI Bali Global students, Badung, Bali killed 4 people.

The chronology of the incident is that the PO Sakhindra tourism bus brought a group of SMK students traveling from the west on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Batu City. The bus is moving towards the Batu Town Square (Batos) area.

This tourism bus accident in Batu killed 4 people, who are road users. Meanwhile, 11 people were injured, consisting of other road users.

Meanwhile, SMK students as bus passengers survived with 43 people. However, the bus passengers were shocked or severely traumatized.

Batu Police Chief AKBP Andi Yudha Pranata stated that all victims were immediately evacuated to the Karsa Husada Hospital and Bhayangkara Hospital, Batu City. The bus passengers were temporarily secured at a local resident's house.

Traffic Police officers immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) to investigate the exact cause of the accident. In addition, the police recorded the victim and evacuated the vehicle involved in the accident.

This tourism bus accident in Batu caused a total of 15 victims from road users, with details of 4 deaths and 11 injuries. Further investigations are being carried out by the police.
