Palace Affirms All Ministers Remain Solid To Help President Jokowi

JAKARTA - Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana emphasized that all ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet remain solid in helping President Joko Widodo in organizing the government until the end of his term of office.

"All ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet remain compact and solid in helping the President to lead the administration of the government until the end of his term of office," said Ari Dwipayana as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.

Regarding the issue that said a minister would resign from the cabinet, he asked reporters to ask the parties who raised the issue.

"Regarding the issue that was deliberately thrown by several parties, there are ministers who are ready to resign or are uncomfortable in the government. Just ask those who raise the issue," said Ari.

Previously, senior economist Faisal Basri in a discussion in Jakarta recently said Sri Mulyani was the minister who was morally the most prepared to withdraw from the cabinet.

Apart from Sri Mulyani, Faisal also said that the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono was ready to resign.

According to Faisal, the minister from the technocrats is ready to resign because of the issue of Presidential support in the presidential election.
