Ganjar Comments On Maruarar Sirait Leaves: Ideological Is It? Pragmatic?Material Is It? Only Mas Ara Knows

NGAWI - Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo respects the political choice of Maruarar Sirait who chose to leave the PDIP Perjuangan.

"I think as a political choice I always respect because it is an individual. Indeed, I have been friends with Mas Ara (the nickname of Maruarar Sirait) for a long time, there must be something (which causes Maruarar to leave). Well, that's something that only Mas Ara knows himself," he said after visiting the Roemah Voorzitter Museum van Het BPUPKI Dr. KRT Radjiman Widiyodiningrat, Kauman, Widodaren District, Ngawi Regency, East Java, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.

He said Maruarar had said that every politician must have an attitude and ideology even though he was hit by many ideological temptations or pragmatic temptations.

According to Ganjar, the choice of attitude has been shown by each politician, including Maruarar.

I think the references he conveys need to be heard too. When people act on what basis? Are you changing ideological positions? Pragmatics? Is it material? Only Mas Ara knows, but I respect (the political choice of Maruarar), "said Ganjar.

Ganjar also commented on 150 Red and White Taruna (TMP) cadres in Majalengka Regency who chose to resign as PDIP cadres for following in the footsteps of Maruarar Sirait.

"I think it was Mas Ara's foster because he used to be the chairman of the TMP," said Ganjar.

Despite losing a cadre, he thinks PDIP has a very good regeneration. That is, one lost grew by a thousand.

"But, we also reflect internally on the PDI-P. So, hopefully, good militant cadres will also get attention," he said.
