Had No Salaman At The Beginning Of The Event, Anies Salami Prabowo After Delivering A Speech At The KPK

JAKARTA - Pair number one, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN), finally shook hands with pair number two, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the PAKU Integrity event held by the KPK.

This moment occurred after Anies delivered his presentation on stage. It is known, each candidate pair got their turn to talk and started from the number one presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Anies, who had finished delivering his presentation, then got off the stage with Cak Imin. He then greeted Prabowo who was sitting with Gibran's partner.

Meanwhile, at the beginning when he was present, Anies and Cak Imin did not shake hands with Prabowo-Gibran. Both of them immediately sat in the position provided by the committee.

Anies and Cak Imin also shook hands with presidential and vice presidential candidates number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD. As for his statement, Anies alluded to a number of things, including the matter of revising the KPK law.

He also talked about ethical standards and the recruitment process at the KPK. The AMIN pair promised to improve this when they were elected in the 2024 presidential election.

"We remember the era where the KPK came to a place where it did not want to eat, did not want to participate in activities funded outside the kpk. High standards must be returned to the KPK," said Anies at the KPK Juang Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 17.

Next, Anies also talked about recruitment at the KPK. He admitted that he wanted to improve the ongoing process not only within the leadership but also employees.

"We will fix the recruitment at the KPK together. As previously stated at the leadership level proposed by the president but also staff recruitment to just look for work but become a place to eradicate corruption. This is the first thing we want to do," he concluded.
