JAKARTA - A large man caught on CCTV cameras carrying out a burglary against a rice stall trader on Jalan Al Baidho 1, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung District, East Jakarta. The perpetrator asked the rice shop keeper for some money.

However, the scared rice shop keeper was forced to give some of the money the perpetrator asked for. Although the perpetrator was arrested, the environmental management, the case ended peacefully after the mediation process was carried out.

"His name is Boy (the perpetrator). Yesterday afternoon when it went viral, I was called. I came, I saw. The perpetrator I know, it's a stressed, lack of mind. The person is quiet," Hanafi, a local resident told reporters, Tuesday, January 16.

the incident began when the perpetrator came to the rice shop using a motorbike. This man immediately carried out a burglary by asking for money from the storefront drawer.

Even the perpetrator had threatened to take his own money if he was not given it. The scared rice shop keeper was finally forced to give money amounting to fifty thousand rupiahs and the perpetrator immediately left.

The environmental management who received the report immediately searched for and succeeded in securing the perpetrator. The perpetrator who was taken to the rice shop apologized.

"He said so (asked for money from the rice trader). His family, his brother were summoned. Everything was discussed. Finally, a statement was made," he said.

The environmental management finally carried out peaceful mediation and asked the perpetrators to make a statement not to repeat their actions.

"He only parks his job every day. Shocked me too," he said.

Residents said that the perpetrator was suspected of having depression. Residents said they were worried about the actions of the perpetrators who often disturbed local residents.
