Online Taxi Driver Found Dead After Receiving Order In Kramat Jati

JAKARTA - Rahmat Zulkarnain (51), a Cililitan resident, was found dead on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, Kramatjati District, East Jakarta, Monday, January 15. The online taxi driver was killed by a sickle while working looking for passengers.

Until this news was written, the motive for the death of the victim was not yet known. The case is still being handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Kramatjati Police.

"At around half past 6 am, I gave information that her husband was hacked. I immediately accompanied his wife out. But the victim had been taken to the hospital," said Head of RT 03/01, Anang to reporters, Tuesday, January 16.

The victim was hacked by two perpetrators whose identities were not yet known.

"What is left there (the location of the incident) is only evidence, sickles. The perpetrator rode two motorbikes. The victim himself (who attacked the victim), his friend was waiting on the motorbike. Get down from the motorbike immediately attacked, immediately left again," he said.

The incident occurred when the victim was pulling over his vehicle after dropping off the passenger.

"He came home to grab, he was the place to hang out there. While drinking coffee at the tire patch there," he said

As a result of the stabbing, the victim suffered injuries to the left chest. Although he was taken to the hospital, the victim's life could not be saved.

"There are sickles still at the crime scene, separated from the handle," he added.

During his life, the victim, known to the neighbor, was a kind and polite person.

"He has lived for decades and has never caused a problem. The person is fine with the environment," he said.
