Taking Advantage Of Young People To Work, TKN Launches Project-Based Virtual Internship Program

JAKARTA - The Young Voters National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, launched a project-based virtual apprenticeship program. This program is a solution offered by candidate pair number 2 in an effort to provide jobs for young Indonesians. The reason is, many young people in the country who need it and who don't know what they will work for when they graduate from school or college. "Today we talk about youth participation for job provision. From various survey institutions, the main needs of young people in Indonesia are related to jobs. So every year there are millions of young people who finish their studies, what is their absorption," said TKN Commander Fanta Arief Rosyid Hasan during a press conference at the Media Center TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Jakarta, Monday, January 15. According to Arief, job opportunities are one of the main needs of young people in Indonesia. Therefore, through collaboration between Young Voters.id and Rakun Academy, TKN collaborates with young people to participate in the provision of jobs. "This is what we will convey is a program that will benefit young people throughout Indonesia," explained Arief. In the same forumer, the Career TKN Coordinator, Andika Deni Prasetya said, Indonesia is facing a demographic bonus right in the midst of the rapidness of the digital era. Therefore, according to him, Indonesia's challenges will be much different than the ones faced by a number of countries in Asia that have previously passed the demographic bonus era. "Our country faces a demographic bonus era but we are going to convey it is a program that might be beneficial for young people throughout Indonesia," explained Arief. In the same forum, the Pioneer TKN Coordinator, Andika Deni Prasetya said, Indonesia is facing a demographic bonus right in the midst of the rapidity of the digital era. Therefore, according to him, the challenges facing Indonesia will be much different than the previous countries in Asia that have gone through the demographic bonus era.

Through collaboration with the Rakamun Academy, added Dika, his party wants to provide convenience for young people to get a job quickly as well as get the competencies needed by the company. "The purpose of this program is no longer just upskilling, but direct absorption of work. Because the platform that has been built by the Rakamin Academy is on both sides. On the part of participants, when they participate in the program, their competencies will be automatically measured by the system. Then the competence will be recorded directly and accessible to the company," said Andika.
