Airlangga Optimistic To Win Prabowo-Gibran And Win 2 Legislative Seats From NTB

The chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, said he was optimistic about winning Presidential Candidate Prabowo Gibran and winning 2 legislative seats from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). He also again invited party cadres in NTB to increase support for Golkar.

Airlangga conveyed the target of 20 percent of the national level legislative seats. He also hopes that NTB will get an increase in votes and get two seats, one seat each in two electoral districts. For the provincial DPRD, the target is an 80 percent increase.

"I convey this target to all party supporters and administrators at level 1 and level 2 here. Let's work together to achieve this goal," said Airlangga in his statement, Sunday, January 14.

In the context of the Presidential Election, Airlangga stated that Golkar will continue to support the presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"We hope that the Prabowo-Gibran pair can win the presidential election in one round," he said, confirming that Golkar and candidate pairs had various tasks.

"The campaign is only 30 days away, so it is impossible for one area for us to gang up together," said Airlangga. Prabowo himself also campaigned in North Sumatra and Gibran was also active in the field.

Airlangga also revealed that the strategy to achieve this target involved campaign activities in the community, as was done in Tastura Praya Square with the participation of around 30 thousand Golkar supporters.

In addition, he encouraged all Golkar legislative candidates to continue to socialize parties and cooperate with the Prabowo-Gibran campaign team.

"Currently, the national average support for Prabowo-Gibran has reached 65 percent, and we want to increase it to 80 percent," said Airlangga.

During the visit, Airlangga was also involved in gemoy exercises with the Praya community, as part of efforts to socialize the vision and mission of the Prabowo-Gibran pair.
